Aloha Tiki Charters

by Mike Duncan

Aloha Tiki Charters brings the Hawaiian island vibes to coastal North Carolina in the form of floating fun on the water! Launched in May 2017, the business revolves around a safe and sturdy vessel built on a 15.5’ by 15.5’ wooden platform that consists of polyethylene barrels, pressure treated marine grade wood, steel fasteners.

All of this supports a wrap-around Tiki bar, is powered by a four-stoke Suzuki outboard engine, and topped by a synthetic thatch roof. It’s the perfect outing for any small group wanting to coast along and enjoy the Wrightsville Beach area!

Challenge

Aloha Tiki Charters wanted a fresh look to complement its unique business plan. This meant a revamped website, new taglines and language, and updated graphics and photos to visually represent the company. To create something that would give them a professional, yet fun image, the Sage Island team combined the best of both worlds and worked with the Aloha’s founders to establish a one-of-a-kind brand.

Solution

Bold colors

Bright, expressive color choices kept in line with the overall tropical vibe of Aloha’s services and mantra, without compromising a professional, clean presentation to potential clients.

Tagline and Language Development

The Sage Island team wanted Aloha to stand out from the rest, and part of that was making sure the company really said something with its online presence. To do this, taglines and conversational dialogue were inserted into the new web pages to facilitate the company message.

Visual Effects

If a picture is worth a thousand words then the new website for Aloha Tiki Charters is priceless! The design team worked with the company to use the best photos and graphics to represent the business and its goals of providing fun tours showcasing the North Carolina coast.
