Carolina Arthritis Associates

by Mara D’Auria

Since its founding in 1991, Carolina Arthritis Associates has been leading the way in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis, musculoskeletal disorders, connective tissue diseases, autoimmune illnesses and osteoporosis. They’re also a longtime client of Sage Island. A well-known and respected business in the Wilmington community, Carolina Arthritis needed an updated website that better reflected their long history, knowledgeable staff, and strong reputation.

Sage Island’s team of designers and developers created a new website that beautifully showcases these qualities while embracing a modernized look and feel. The approachable design is clean and accessible whether the user is seeking resources for themselves or for a loved one. In addition, it now incorporates their logo throughout the site, contributing to appearance of a recognizable and trusted brand.

The homepage includes clear points of entry, guiding users directly to the information they need, whether they want to meet the specialists or schedule an appointment. Individual landing pages for their main medical services and each of the diseases they treat, such as Osteoporosis and Scleroderma, guide users to informative pages that establish Carolina Arthritis as experts in their field and educate the public about the various disease that may be affecting them. Finally, their “Practice Policies” page contains two incredibly helpful links—one to a New Patient Packet and one to a Patient System Review Form, which can both be downloaded and completed prior to their first appointment. This is the kind of modern efficiency, professionalism, and patient care that Carolina Arthritis embraces, and that their website now reflects.
