IKEA "embraces change" with new marketing campaign
As we approach the historic inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama, it would seem that everyone – individual and brand alike – has our 44th president on their mind. Keeping with the spirit of change, Ikea has launched its “Embrace Change ‘09” campaign. This campaign is designed to promote their new line of furniture “fit for a president.”
The site features an oval office that can be decorated by dragging and dropping the new furniture pieces into place. The site also has the ability to let you share your decorated room with a friend or send your idea to the White House.
In addition to the online piece, the integrated campaign features an out of home component and a mock motorcade that will be touring DC on January 15 and 16.
