New Lighthouse Beer and Wine Site Launches
We recently launched a newly designed website for Lighthouse Beer & Wine, a long-time client through both their brick and mortar location and their annual beer & wine festival. The Lighthouse team’s main goal was to give their site a fresh aesthetic and enhanced user experience that really allows customers to get a sense of the personality of the store and its staff. New design additions Sage implemented include a much wider range of imagery (both in-store and of their beer garden), increased visibility for their vast beer and wine varieties and a personality that reflected the quirky, playful expertise of their staff. From an engagement perspective, we integrated their popular Instagram account, added a “Just In” feature allowing staff to easily update new brews and on draft listings, and incorporated beer & wine style guides. Another major change we implemented was the integration of the beer & wine festival site into the brick and mortar store site, unifying the two aspect of Lighthouse while allowing users to seamlessly navigate between the two sections.
Built in WordPress, the new site allows visitors to easily explore reviews on the blog or learn about beer and wine styles, then quickly segue into online orders for kegs/wine cases or even book private event tastings. Next up for Lighthouse is an e-commerce section, setup by Sage, where users can purchase signature Lighthouse swag like t-shirts, beer mugs and glasses. Once the Lighthouse team has finished stocking their online shop over the next few weeks, it will be up and running, ready to take orders.
