Low Country Interiors

by Katie Sasser

Back Story

Low Country Interiors is a full-service interior design firm owned by Wilmington resident Nicole Hinson. The client asked the Sage Island team for a website redesign.

Challenge

Low Country Interiors needed a website that would communicate the client’s aesthetic while offering an easy and intuitive user experience.

Solution

Design details

The client’s interior design style is clean and chic, so our graphic design team created a website that reflected those themes. The client came to us with an existing logo and color palette, so we incorporated those elements throughout the website. We added pops of teal and light grey to add visual interest and highlight information.

We also combined timeless design elements like serif fonts with modern touches like sans-serif typefaces and a subtle parallax effect to reflect the client’s style.

Intuitive navigation

We structured the site map to guide potential customers from the client’s work, to the services offered, to testimonials, to the contact page. We knew that this client’s portfolio page was a major selling point, so we built a photo gallery that not only displayed images of the client’s work, but also descriptions of project features and highlights.

Social integration

The client is active on several social platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest. We not only included those icons in the footer, but we included an Instagram feed on the homepage that links out to the client’s Instagram page.
