Nautique Parts

Nautique Parts is a division of White Lake Marine and is the most comprehensive supplier of Nautique boats and parts in the world. They operate a boat dealership in White Lake, NC, while their online store stocks thousands of parts and offers access to many more.


Nautique Parts has been growing steadily since 1995, but their website hadn’t been quite as good at keeping up. It began to look dated and their online store suddenly felt clunky—especially compared to the brand new e-commerce sites springing up around them.

In order to keep up with the times and offer their customers the best service, they knew they had to redesign their site and rethink their approach to online shopping. Thanks to our design and marketing expertise, Sage Island was the perfect partner to help Nautique Parts accomplish these goals.


In order for Nautique Parts to better serve their customers, increase sales, and establish their business and brand as a trusted resource of boats and parts, the team at Sage Island used a number of tactics.

We redesigned their website for a professional, polished look.

In order to clearly show users who Nautique Parts is and what services and products they offer, our designers and programmers created a site that is clean, visually pleasing, and well organized. On the homepage, large images create a nautical feel, while calls-to-action guide visitors to the most important parts of the site. At the bottom of the homepage, a dynamic slider of featured products displays the latest and greatest items for sale in the shop. This engaging features encourages visitors to click through, engaging them and keeping their attention where it should be—on the products.

We designed and developed their e-commerce store using WooCommerce.

WooCommerce is a customizable e-commerce platform for online businesses. Easy to use and integrate into existing WordPress sites, it powers over 9% of all online stores. By building Nautique Parts’ store in WooCommerce, we were able give them features such as PayPal payments and shipping options. It also allowed us to showcase their inventory with a clean and organized structure. Users can now navigate through the store by different categories, such as Accessories, Boat, Engine, and Merchandise. Perhaps most useful and impressive, the site can also help users see the current availability of each item thanks to the use of variants. For example, if a visitor chooses one variant of a product—a blue boat cover, for example—the site will display which sizes are available in that color. If they choose a black boat cover, it will trigger different information to display. This provides a more accurate portrayal of what is currently in stock, helping customers get exactly what they want and allowing Nautique Parts to provide the best service possible.
