Social Media Case Study: Warehouse Skateboards

by Ashley Bullin

Warehouse Skateboards approached Sage Island to develop graphics for their many social media channels. Most brands have a presence on multiple social networks, and it can be quite a challenge for them to maintain a cohesive look across the board. Our design approach stemmed from an overall branding strategy aimed at featuring the online retailer’s unique selling points. Warehouse Skateboards is the largest online skateboard shop, and even gives customers the ability to build their own complete skateboard from scratch. Our marketing team chose the phrase “Dream It, Build It, Skate It” to reinforce the idea of a custom, personal approach to skateboard sales. From there, our designers executed a graphic complementary to the company logo. Each of Warehouse’s social media outlets feature this same graphic, sized appropriately, giving users a consistent experience across all online outlets.
