State of the Media: Social Media Report

Social media platforms continue to grow in popularity, connecting people with just about every brand you can possibly think of. With that said, it continues to be extremely important for brands, retailers and advertisers to understand how different consumer audiences engage and share content across these social networks.

In the Nielsen’s “State of the Media: The Social Media Report” we find some answers on the influence that social media has on users and their purchasing decisions. “For instance, 60 percent of people who use three or more digital means of research for product purchases learned about a specific brand or retailer from a social networking site.” – Nielson’s Report
