Microsoft Outlook 2011 for Mac

  1. With Outlook 2011 for Mac open, from the top Outlook menu click “Outlook” then drop down to “Preferences.”
  2. Once the Outlook Preferences window appears, click “Accounts.”
  3. Click the account associated with e-mail hosted at Sage Island in the left navigation pane.
  4. Under the section for Outgoing Server, click the “More Options…” button.
  5. A new window will appear, from the Settings for mail.[domain-name].com select “Use Incoming Server Info” from the drop down.
  6. Click “Ok.”
  7. Close the Accounts window.
    Congratulations. All the steps required to setup SMTP Authentication for Outgoing Mail have been completed.
